Barratt Homes has been chosen by the London Borough of Lewisham as development partner to deliver Loampit Vale. A consultation is being undertaken to develop the proposals before a planning application is submitted in Summer 2008.

Loampit Vale will embody 21st century urban living and deliver an exciting future for Lewisham. The shape and nature of the area will change, providing local residents with new community amenities, as well as delivering new homes.

Serviced by excellent transport links, the proposals for Loampit Vale will complement the neighbouring Thurston Road and Lewisham Gateway schemes. They include at their heart a state of the art leisure centre including a new swimming pool, alongside the new Cornmill Gardens, creating an exciting hub for the development - combining sport, arts, and play facilities.
