The partnership
Loampit Vale is a partnership between the London Borough of Lewisham and
Barratt Homes.
In October 2007, following extensive open competition, Lewisham Council chose
Barratt Homes as the preferred developer for the landmark regeneration of Loampit Vale
in Lewisham Town Centre.
Barratt submitted a planning application for the site and in partnership with the Council
have developed the scheme.
Barratt Homes has appointed 2 award winning architects to help design the scheme:
Assael Architecture are masterplanning and designing residential parts of the scheme. Committed to excellence, Assael designed Tachbrook Triangle, winner of the 2007 Housing Design Award.
LA Architects, a specialist practice with client expertise in designing leisure facilities,
are designing what will be one of the best swimming pools in London.
